Finding Stargirl is a mini character design project based on the novel, Stargirl, by Jerry Spinelli.

In short, the book is about being joyfully and unapologetically yourself. Stargirl is such an inspiring character—she finds the beauty in the mundane, is kind and joyful, strange, boisterous, but also has a melancholy and quiet side. This book is a snapshot of my journey to bring this character to life.
